Easy to care for house plants

Benefits of Indoor Plants

This time of year, our stretches of daylight are starting to get longer, but it’s still too cold to open the windows for fresh air. Indoor plants not only help purify the air, but they also can be easy to maintain and are an attractive addition to any home. Not only can they boost your mood and productivity, they also can reduce stress and create a relaxed environment. We’ve put together a list of some of the most popular beginner-friendly indoor plants:

Golden Pothos One of the most popular hanging plants. These grow from pots or trailing baskets, and can easily root in a simple glass of water.

Spider Plant A great option for plant owners of any level, spider plants grow easily in a pot or basket and are not picky about light, water, or temperature.

Aloe Vera These hardy succulents don’t take much care. It can go long periods without water, and just needs to be placed in bright, indirect sunlight. The juice from the leaves can also be used to alleviate pain from scrapes and burns.

Snake Plant One of the most hardy indoor plants, they thrive in any kind of light, and only need watered when the soil feels dry.

ZZ Plant These plants require less water than a lot of other plants, so if you tend to forget to water, this one is perfect for you. They thrive in bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate low light.

African Violet African violets fluorish indoors under bright and indirect light, making them easy to care for. Plus. they’ll add a pop of purple to any room you display them in.
